Maria is currently moving to the northwest, which has probably caused many residents of the Bahamas and coastal United States to breathe a sigh of relief. However, some reports have shown that if Hurricane Jose weakens, Maria may draw closer to the U.S. East Coast. The projection looks good for the U.S. as of this moment, but we’ll continue to watch Maria as she travels the Atlantic.
